Novel the Nut

No he's NOT a girl!!
Name: Novel
Breed: LGX
Color: Black
Sire: Jensen IV
Dam: Gaylor II
Birthday: 1/14/12
Turn-in Date: 8/16/13
Release Date: 9/27/13 - inappropriate toileting
History: Born in CA at a CCI breeder caretaker's home. Sent to Orlando FL because he didn't have a puppy raiser at 8 weeks. Sent to me at 12 weeks to be raised as a service dog. When Novel was CC'd from Advanced Training, I adopted him as my pet.
Personality: Totally goofy, but serious. Totally loves his job, but also the "release" command. Totally sweet, but an absolute imp. Totally, 100%, everything. All the time. Good and Bad.
Accomplishments/Awards: Passed his CGC test, Graduated from all the advanced class at petsmart...multiple times. Managed to get kicked out of CCI. That's quite an accomplishment people. *wink wink.

Novel came to me from Canine Companions for Independence as a 12 week old puppy with huge paws, a big boy bark, and an undeveloped brain that fired a million times a second. He was the first puppy I raised for CCI (or any service dog organization for that matter) and boy did we have some adventures together! I learned so much with this clever little dude over the year and a half we were together and will always remember him as the dog who taught me how to grow up. He loves his kitty Chai, He loves me, and He LOVES meal time. There isn't much he doesn't like. Novel was a "college dog" and frequently attended classes with me where my professors often mentioned him in their lectures (usually after he called undue attention to himself with an enormous, strategically placed sigh or loud snoring) or included him in role call.

Now he lives with me as my amazing, wonderful pet. I love him to pieces.
